Fun in the Sun

Today we got out of the house for a little bit. Payton loves the outdoors and is very hot natured so she didn't even notice that it was kinda chilly. She will talk and talk in the house but once we get outside she will not say one word. She is too busy taking it all in! We can't wait for the weather to be nicer so we can do this every day!!

When I get to go outside I try to figure everything out like...what are these...

and these??

Look I am standing on my own while checking out another one of these things I found!

Okay Mommy I know you said its time to go in but this is soo heavy!!

I got it...now I want some lunch!

Mommy let me eat peas and carrots all by myself!
Mommy and Daddy think the way I sleep is so cute!

Better go play some more!
P.S. I love my Daddy!!

New Camera

Just had to post the first pics taken with my new camera. I am still trying to figure it all out but so far it is much better than the old one!

Dinner Idea

A friend Brook (follow the link to Our Journey under My Blog List) posted some good recipes on her blog that I can't wait to try so I thought I would do the same. Also I love getting recipes so if you want to follow along that would be great!

This recipe is for Mexican Roast. It sounds strange but it is so good!

needed:
chuck roast
7 oz can of green chilies
1/2 a package of taco seasoning
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon of beef bouillon
1 teaspoon of sugar

Brown the roast in a deep pan (with a little oil) on each side.
Pour in all of the ingredients into the pot and let simmer for 2 - 2 1/2 hours
Thicken it however you want it at the end (I usually mix a little flour and water then pour it in)
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

She's Walking!!!

Got you looking! he-he She is walking with her little push toy though and she does take a step or two here and there on her own! I'm so proud!!

I'll try to get better about making more blog entries. I have been waiting for my new camera to come in and now I have to figure out how to work it. ;)
