Payton wanted to play and wouldn't nap so she fell asleep while playing in her saucer.

Close The Curtains Please

Payton has always covered her eyes in one way or another to block the light while trying to sleep but this one tops them all. She was sound asleep in these pics using her arm and the pillow from her swing to shade them. Grady discovered her and got me to come see so of course I got some pics. Poor little thing!

Just Pictures

I don't have much to say today. Just have some pics to show off. Yesterday I caught Payton and Grady looking out the window so I have a pic of that, one of her holding her bottle and there are a couple of her playing.

Bath Time

Since Payton can sit up now and since she makes such a big mess splashing in her little bath tub I decided to give her a bath in the kitchen sink. She loved it! So here is a sink pic and a one of her after the bath before I brushed her hair. I thought it was too funny!

Sitting Pretty

Well the past couple of weeks Payton has learned so much. She can now roll over back to front and front to back, she can hold her bottle and today she has figured out how to sit up on her own.

New Discoveries- Feet & Rambo

Payton has made some new discoveries. A couple of weeks ago she started noticing our dog Rambo. He has been crazy about her ever since she was born and has just been dying for her to pay attention to him. So now he is extremely excited. Every time she sees him she says "ooh" and reaches for him. I think they will be quite the pair one day. ha-ha
Also she has found her feet. It's so cute to watch her play with them. She is at such a fun stage right now always laughing and jabbering. She's learned that a big smile can get her pretty much anything she wants.

Labor Day

We had a pretty quiet Labor Day. We pretty much chilled all day and watched the news about hurricane Gustav. Below are some pics I took of Payton playin on her belly. She really doesn't like it so she kept giving up and sleeping (she had just woken up from an hour nap so she wasn't really tired just lazy ha) so I had to wake her up over and over again to get her to play.
