Miss Independent

Payton is getting so independent these days. She does not want to be held any more. If she is awake she wants down to play. She will even play all by her self (well she doesnt know it but we are watching) in her room for long periods of time. I bet Grady and I have the same conversation ten times a day about our amazement at how fast our baby has grown. We never realized what a difference a day makes until she came into our lives. It started with her first smile and has gone on to her first laugh, crawl, tooth...well you get the picture. It seems like every day she does or learns something new.

Playing in the kitchen.

Looks like its time to child proof the house!

She has good balance now. I think its just a matter of time before she takes her first steps. She can stand on her own without holding on to anything.

If you can see it here is her first tooth!!

Funny Girl!

Payton is so funny. We are constantly laughing at her! Here lately she will be in her walker and grab something she is not supposed to have so I walk over to get it from her and she runs as fast as she can to get away from me. Then just about the time I catch up to get it from her she throws it and keeps running. I really need to get a video of this!

Saturday we went out to Pawpaw's and Payton got to sit on Shirley.

Here she in in her hat that Aunt Linda and Uncle Bob got her for Christmas. CUTE!

Pulling up
She loves to pull up and see what is on the ottoman to play with.

Some New Pictures

I really can't think of anything new to report. Just have a few new pictures to post.

In her flannel P.J.'s and house shoes.

Pitching a fit because she does not like being strapped in things. She hates her car seat and high chair.

All dolled up in camo.

Ready for a ride in her buggy.

Where Has The Time Gone??

Today Payton is 9 months old. I can't believe it! It seems like we just brought her home from the hospital. She's learning so much every day. I have posted a video of her pulling up and playing a little.

I let her have a little try of an Oreo Cookie and of course she LOVED it!

She thinks Kate is the best! It's so cute to watch them together.

Here is the video. Oh and when she fell I was a little worried for a second but she was fine. Now its kinda funny watching that part because all you see are her little feet for a second. he-he

Today

I have been giving Payton baths in the sink just because it was easier until a couple days ago. My mom got her this seat for the tub and it has made it so much easier and she LOVES it. She just plays and plays!

Daddy let her snack on the floor all by her self. She thought that was the best thing ever!

What...they are gone??

More please!!
