Happy Holidays!!

We had a great Christmas this year! Payton was big enough to really enjoy it, Grady was healthy (last year we checked him out of the hospital on Christmas Eve)...what more could we ask for!?!?

Here is a little Payton update:
~She sings her ABC's all the time (even the end of the song) its so cute!
~She says complete sentences now. I think it shocks us all when she comes out with them!
~She is always singing and makes up her own songs.
~She thinks she can jump.
~She calls me meanie when she is mad and Brandi when she wants something.
~She is still crazy about her daddy.
~She listens intensely when Grady or I talk to other grown ups. I look over sometimes mid conversation and she is just a staring taking it all in. haha
~She loves Barney and Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Here are some pics from our 7 Christmases! Sorry they are not in order! Oh and I didn't have my camera every where we went.

She wanted to eat her breakfast at the table like a "big gul" as she would say.

Payton loves to help with things. She helped clean up the trash and loved passing out gifts.

She thinks she is something on the power wheels car that Nana and Poppa got her.

Cousins!

Yes we actually had a white Christmas!! On Christmas eve it was like a blizzard. There were really big flakes and the wind was out of control!

Going to check out what Santa brought her.

Notice she is making the same face as the figurine. haha

She really likes the rocking chair Nini and Pawpaw got her.

Hitting the pinata.

Getting some candy!

This picture says it all...she was tired after all of the going we did! But she had so much fun!!

LOL I promise these are bubble gum cigarettes!

Weekend

We didn't do too much over the weekend. Grady's cousin Cybil gave Kate's kitchen (that she has outgrown) to Payton. Thank you Cybil and Kate! It is so cute and Payton has had the best time playing with it. Saturday we went to my parents to celebrate my niece Sydney's b-day. Sydney got to pick the meal so we had her favorite salad (she would eat salad with Italian dressing every day if they let her) and steak. Payton was happy because she loves salad too! I didn't take any pictures (shame on me) but I really need to of the three of them next time we are all together! Anyways...here are a few pics from the weekend!

We do not have any dishes or food yet (Christmas) but Payton had fun cooking a car and whatever else she found.

He-he She climbed into her toy bucket! I made the guest room into a play room/ guest room. It's so nice not to have toys all over the living room!

Oh also we decorated the tree and I was shocked! I didn't tell her what to do she just walked up to the tree and put an ornament on. She must have remembered this from last year!

We had a very good Thanksgiving. I guess I should say we had lots of good Thanksgivings because there were 4 of them! I didn't get many pics though. I didn't have my camera when I really wanted it. Here are a few that I did get. =)

Happy Birthday Zach!!

Saturday we went to a birthday party for my nephew Zach who turned 6. It was at a park and the kids had SO much fun playing! Here are some pics!
Oh and I have lost the memory card to my camera (it's a Sony so it doesn't take the regular memory card) so I don't know when I will be blogging again. =( I feel lost since I can't take pics!!

Payton's First Real Hair Cut

I planned to take Payton to the beauty shop to get her hair cut but decided spur of the moment to do it myself. I was VERY nervous that she wasn't going to cooperate once I made the first cut but she did! THANK GOODNESS!! And luckily I didn't hack it up. ha-ha

Happy Halloween!!

We took Payton trick or treating for the first time this year. She had fun but didn't get a nap today so she was kinda in a daze the whole time. I think she will have even more fun next year when she is a little bigger!!

Fun & Busy Day

We had a pretty busy day Saturday. First thing in the morning Payton and I got up and went into town and took a few pictures then later on we headed to Kate's birthday party. Payton had so much fun playing with all of the kiddos there and Kate had a great party! We didn't get to stay too long because we had another party (for Grady's cousin Amy who just got married) to get to that evening. It was a lot of fun too! Payton loved the ground level trampoline they had there. I wish I had taken some pics! Needless to say Payton was out when we got home. She didn't even wake up when I changed her.

Payton with the Tin Man. She wanted to eat the snacks he had on his tray. Too bad they were tin also. ha-ha

Here she is with Kate and Hannah at Kate's party.

Pumpkin Carving

Payton helped carve a pumpkin tonight. There were only a few left to choose from at the store so as you can see Mr. Smiley has a little acne. he-he

Helping us carve.

Giving it a taste...yuck! ha

She is so proud!

Oh and for a little update. Payton now knows part of the alphabet she sings along when we get to q r s t u v. And she can count to 10 when we say a number and she says the next.
Also she is saying little phrases now. We have always asked her if she is Mommys girl or Daddys girl and her response has always been "Daddy dirl". Well the other day she was being really clingy with me and I asked her who's girl she is and she said "I dono" haha
Then this morning she wanted juice in the sippy cup that I had chocolate milk in and she kept saying "uce in hewre".
