We Have Earrings!!

Sunday Payton, my Mom and I all went shopping and finally got Payton's ears pierced. She did so good!! The girl pierced the first one and Payton was smiling and looking around for like 30 seconds then that smile went to a blank look then a frown then slowly to a cry. But the girl quickly did the other ear and as soon as I stood up with her she was fine. She doesn't even know they are there. I thought she would mess with them but so far so good. Also we went ahead and gave her some of her Christmas (we needed it to keep her out of the Christmas tree). Oh and I had to lower her crib so she wont climb out. ='( She is growing too fast!!

Update

Its been a while since I have made a post. Grady had to have a second surgery so things were pretty busy again for a while. He is doing better now though! YAY!!
I thought I would update everyone on what Payton is doing now. She loves to play peek-a-boo. She will hold a blanket over her eyes and pull it down on her own to play. Its so cute! Also she is finally saying Momma. I am very happy about that! She has been saying Dada, bye bye, and Na Na (loves to say Na Na when I don't give her what she wants and when I am eating because Nana gives her bites of her food). She is learning to wave bye. Oh and she loves to put her hand on her mouth while making noise to make it sound different.
This is such a fun age. She is learning So many things!! Here are some recent pics I have taken.

The Final Days of the Swing

I think this is a sign that she has just about outgrown her swing. Which is a bummer because she really likes it a lot. When she was a few months old I would get her up from her bed in the morning and put her in the swing and she would get so excited to see the little critters on the mobile. She would smile and laugh at them like she had missed them all night. Bye bye swing hello freedom and mobility!
